ROOTED IMPACT
- Foundation & Mission: 100% of the funds generated by Bokashi K’áax go directly to FSV’s social mission: supporting indigenous communities and vulnerable groups in Yucatán.
- Regenerative Value: Nourish your garden with a fertilizer that promotes the preservation and restoration of the ecological balance in the Mayan region.
- Mayab’s Wisdom: This fertilizer is a bridge between Japanese technique (Bokashi) and the ancestral resources of our land (Forest Soil, Wood Ash).
SCIENTIFIC QUALITY & STABILITY
- Controlled Fermentation: Produced through a rigorous aerobic process with temperatures kept under 60°C (140°F), ensuring the preservation of beneficial microorganisms.
- Biologically Active Fertilizer: This is not just simple compost; it is a stable ferment that enriches soil microbiology, ideal for organic gardening.
- Unique Formula: We use Manure, Wheat Bran, Dry Leaves, and Powdered Charcoal, among other organic products, to guarantee a high Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC).
BENEFITS FOR YOUR GARDEN
- Sustained Growth: A balanced, slow-release supply of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), and Potassium (K).
- Living Soil: Improves structure, aeration, and water retention, making the soil “friable” and easy to work with.
- Dual Purpose: Ideal for orchards, pots, and nurseries. Its stability ($pH$ 6.0 to 7.5 and absence of ammonia) makes it safe and highly effective.
Quick Start Guide: Applying the Ferment
Bokashi K’áax is a concentrated and active fertilizer. Follow this guide for best results:
Step 1: Before Planting/Transplanting (Integration Protocol)
- CRITICAL Recommendation: Incorporate Bokashi K’áax into the soil 15 days before planting or transplanting to allow the product to fully integrate.
- Vegetables/Flowers: Mix 100 grams (approx. 1/5 of the 500g bag) per square meter. Incorporate superficially and water.
- Large Pots (20L or more): Mix 50 grams (one handful) with the topsoil of the pot.
Step 2: During the Growth Cycle (Maintenance)
- Established Plants: Apply 30 grams (2 tablespoons) around the stem, without touching the base directly. Repeat every 4 to 6 weeks. Important: Water immediately after to integrate the fertilizer into the soil.
- Young/Fruit Trees: Apply 200 grams around the base (at the drip line), 4 times a year (at the start of each season). Important: Water immediately to integrate.
